CATBELLS
Climb one of the Lake District's most popular and photogenic fells, Cat Bells (451 m), perched on the western shore of Derwentwater.The path ascends steadily from Hawes End through heather slopes and open fellside, with a couple of short, easy rocky steps near the summit. Reach the distinctive rounded top for breathtaking panoramic views over Derwentwater lake, Keswick, Skiddaw, Borrowdale, Newlands Valley, and the surrounding fells on a clear day.
